Which bottle size should I choose?
The small bottle can contain 150 ml of milk, and the large bottle can contain 300 ml of milk. Babies are different, but as a rule of thumb we suggest the small bottle until 4 months and the large bottle from 4 months and up. There is no difference in the nipple size - The flow is regulated by the vent-system, that is depending on the strength of your baby.
Why are natural postitions important?
If your baby is breastfed, the positioning in itself is safe & known. It is easier for your baby to control the rhythm while eating on the side or on the belly. It also supports muscles and motorical development when differentiating eating positions.
Can I store breastmilk directly in the bottle?
You can store breastmilk directly in the microplastic-free bottle with the fridge lid. Replace the nipple and vent system with the fridge lid, and screw it onto the bottle to save breastmilk in the fridge for later. Always follow recommendations for how long breastmilk can be stored.
Can the bottle go in the microwave?
Yes, the caramma support bottle can go in the microwave. Different third party recommendations suggests that microwaves might heat milk unevenly and have larger risk of burning, so be careful. Another easy way to heat the milk is to put your caramma baby bottle into a bowl of hot water for a couple of minutes (before pressing the air out of the baby bottle). You can feel the temperature on your hand – if it is lukewarm, it is the right temperature.
Which bottle warmer is reccomended for Caramma Baby Bottle?
We know that many are happy to use the portable bottle warmer from Baby Brezza for Caramma Baby Bottle. The milk is warmed directly in the bottle warmer and poured into the bottle. Also it is convenient that you can bring your bottle warmer with you on the go.
