"We have each given birth to two children. Experiencing breastfeeding firsthand, while also facing its challenges – like insufficient milk supply, sickness, work and partner on parental leave – inspired us deeply. We noticed that baby bottles available didn’t resemble the breastfeeding experience in any way."
Co-designers Rie Maktabi and Monika Havnø have developed the bottle over five years. Through working with more than a hundred families and health professionals, they shaped a clear vision of breastfeeding support, designing a bottle that mimicks the breast in both form and function.
The caramma support bottle, winner of Danish Design Award 2024, is a double-patented technology that succeeds in keeping a collapsible bottle airfree.
It creates a slow, baby-controlled flow and supports healthy eating habits with natural pauses aimed at reducing the risk of overfeeding, while allowing for full intimacy.
The caramma support bottle is built on circular principles: the bottle is foldable for efficient transport, and its mono-material components are easily disassembled for a resourceful afterlife.

Driven by our manifesto, we have spent the last five years developing and testing a revolutionary baby bottle designed to be as close to Mother Nature as possible. Our wonderful, dedicated community of families and healthcare professionals has guided every feature of the bottle to make the experience feel as natural as possible. More than 30 prototypes have been tested in pursuit of perfection. Together with a team of passionate geeks, we have invented patented technical solutions never seen before, all to come as close as possible to the remarkable design of the female breast <3
